Robin Bernal - President and CEO
Robin Bernal is a highly competent accountant serving clients in the Denver Metro Area. She began her accounting career in her early teens working for her CPA father. She has worked in the accounting industry both in the private and public sectors for 22 years before co-founding Sarina Corporation in 2007.
Her vast experience in all facets of tax preparation includes C-corporations, S-corporations, partnerships, individual, and non-profit entity filings. Her experience in bookkeeping includes payroll, sales tax, compliance reporting, financial statement preparation/analysis, and general business consulting for retail, construction, rental/real estate, non-profit, and many other service based industries.
Robin graduated from the University of Baltimore with her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and also has an Associate Degree in Business. She is currently preparing for the IRS EA exam.
Shawn Bernal - Vice-President and CIO
Shawn is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer with over 15 years of experience in the IT field. His career experience includes supporting servers, desktops, networks and applications in multiple environments and configurations for corporations such as Lockheed Martin and the Make a Wish Foundation of Colorado. His broad understanding of the complex aspects of Information Technology enable rapid solutions and solid foundations for our client's information needs.
Kaleigh Canavan - Marketing Director
Kaleigh joined the Sarina team in 2012. She is currently attending Regis University’s College for Professional Studies, enrolled in their accelerated program to complete her Bachelor’s degree while also completing her Master’s in Accounting. She has several years of experience in Bookkeeping for individuals, LLCs, Corporations and Non-Profit organizations.
